A character card of my good friend Adriene’s original character from her animated short film, Star Rider. When designing this piece, I wanted to replicate the character cards that surprise boxes such as Smiski have for their own mascots (references below). While designing the card, I aimed to capture the same cheeriness and friendliness that emits from Adriene’s character.
The character model, posing, and composition were done in Cinema4D, with textures made in Substance Painter, then moved into Autodesk Maya for lighting and render.
