Partner reveal video for Secret Lair’s collaboration merch with Brain Dead.

For this release, we wanted to encapsulate the slogan, “MAGIC IS EVERYWHERE”; no matter where you go, whether it be a grungy bathroom of a punk bar or in the middle of a fantastical forest, your Magic deck is ready for play. Another key aspect of the reveal was to showcase Brain Dead’s unique 90’s-inspired branding, an aesthetic that ranged from enchantingly dreamy and whimsical to downright dirty.

I was responsible for designing the video’s look/concept. Here you’ll find my styleframe explorations as I navigate through the various different settings the wonderful and weird world of Magic can unfurl in.

The locations range from the stickered and graffitied wall of a bar bathroom to the coziness and familiarity of a Friday Magic Game Night (a concept we actually end up using for a later Partner Reveal collaboration)
